There are three distinct parts to the REV90 Challenge:

- Prayer: Using a notebook, a journal or even your computer, take a few moments each day and write out your prayer to God. You will discover that this will help to keep you focused and specific in the way that you pray.
- Scripture: Read through the New Testament. By simply dedicating 15-20 minutes a day, you can read through the entire New Testament in 90 days. We will help you through the process by including a reading schedule, a brief synopsis and verses to focus on while you are reading each day. These will be sent to you via email, and they will also be located on the REV90 blog site located at www.lhc.org/rev90.
- Worship: Make a concerted effort to attend weekly worship 10 out of the next 13 weeks.
- Evangelism: Invite someone new to LHC twice a month. We all have people around us who are not attending church and who could benefit from the worship and teaching that we offer. Simply invite them to church with you on any given Sunday.
- Service: Proactively look for ways to serve others once a week. Be creative. There are numerous opportunities to serve both within the church and in your community. Take the initiative and discover how you can use your gifts and talents to serve others over the next 90 days.

- Plan for peace: Create and operate from a budget. There are a myriad of available software options out there to help you with this. But if you would like a more personal touch, then be looking for our Financial Peace class that will be offered at LHC in January. Our very own financial guru, Mike Valiton will be teaching us the best principles for managing our money in the new year.
- Tithe to test: In Malachi 3:10, God invites us to test Him in the way we give financially. God wants us to trust in the fact that He is a Provider. Trusting in this fact enables us to become generous people with our finances, our gifts and our time. If you are not already doing so, try tithing (giving away 10% of your income to God’s work) for 90-days and see if God will not keep His promise to “meet all of your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
- Pay to play: Live the next 90 days on a “pay-as-you-go” plan. That means for 90 days, do your best to put nothing on a credit card. Use a debit card, cash, check, spare change, whatever…only try to live the next 90 days with the credit cards in the drawer.
- Purify your life: Take a look around your life – your computer, books, your video and movie habits, your dating habits, etc., and remove anything that you know to be impure. Commit to spend 90 days as pure as you can in your thoughts and in your actions.
- Use high-octane fuel: Give your body the best chance available to perform at its peak. Eat healthy foods and drink lots of water. Use this time to remove any food, alcohol or chemical addictions in your life. Drink alcohol only in moderation. Avoid cigarettes, drugs, dipping and any other physically harmful substances.
- Rest: Discover God’s gift of the 3 S’s: Sleep – try to get 6-8 hours of sleep each night; Sabbath – dedicate a day a week to not work, instead doing something that energizes your body and soul; and Sabbatical – commit to taking a vacation this year, even if it’s a “staycation”. Your body, mind and soul need adequate rest.
- Exercise: Develop a consistent exercise regimen of at least 3 days a week for a minimum of 30 minutes each day. If you’re looking for a group to help you out, then consider joining an LHC Running Club in the spring. There will be an LHC 5K in April and these Running Clubs are just the thing to get you ready for this fun, church-wide event.
